The PRD600 is a CAT6A UTP cable (PCT60SF) terminated with gold plated male RJ45 connectors at both ends. The PCT60SF networking cable specifically designed for the growing number of digital applications in the professional AV industry. Unlike any other CAT6A cable available on the market, the PCT60SF features Duraflex™ outer jacket constructed using a double-extrusion technique with a polyurethane outer and PVC inner jacket.
The polyurethane outer jacket offers excellent resistance against mechanical wear due to pulling, bending, cracking and UV exposure, while the PVC inner jacket keeps it easy to handle. The conductor section consists of 4 individually shielded pairs of stranded 24 AWG conductors which guarantee optimal signal transmission while the combination of individual aluminum foil shielding surrounded by a tinned copper wire braiding offers high immunity to noise and interference caused by external devices. The PCT60SF supports 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, 1000Base-T and 10GBase-T gigabit networks.

The 100Ω cables are ideal for the transmission of digital signals. This impedance is mostly used in our wide range of UTP cables.
The connectors that are fitted with gold plated contacts have the advantage of preventing oxidation and maintain performance after years of use. Another great property of gold is that it is an excellent electrical conductor. For comparison, if pure copper has a relative conductivity of 100 then gold is only 31% lower than copper, while nickel is 76% lower than copper.
