Serial Digital Interface (SDI) is a digital video interface that is used for the transmission of uncompressed, unencrypted digital video signals for professional video equipment. Standard SDI cables are terminated with BNC connectors and have a nominal impedance of 75 Ohms. The same cables can also be used for analog SD video distribution.
The SD-SDI signal cables offer a transmission speed up to 360Mb/s and can be used for resolutions up to 480i and 576i.
The HD-SDI signal cables offer a transmission speed up to 1.5 Gb/s and can be used for resolutions up to 720p and 1080i.
The 3G-SDI signal cables offer a transmission speed up to 3.0 Gb/s and can be used for resolutions up to 1080p at 60 frames per second.
